Work journal

A work journal for solo developers and freelancers

Nobody else has to be involved for a journal to be worth keeping. Post a line for whatever you finished and it stays dated, in order, under /me — a record you can show, not just a habit you meant to keep up.

One page, kept by you

/me is your own journal, with nothing set up beforehand — no team to create, nobody to invite. Every line you post lands there under the day you posted it.

A calendar and tags to find your way back

The feed pages back day by day, and a calendar view lets you jump straight to a month. Tag a line as you post it, then filter the journal down to just that tag — a project name, a client, whatever you want to pull back out later.

Goals that wait until you finish them

A line starting with [ ] is something you intend to finish, not something you already did. It sits under your open goals until you post it done — nothing is guessed about whether it happened.

Export the whole thing as one file

/me/export.csv downloads your entire journal as one CSV file. That is what makes it usable as proof of work: a client, or you a year from now, gets the plain record instead of having to take your word for it.

Free for one person

A personal journal is free, on its own, for as long as you keep it — see the pricing page. Nothing about keeping your own record depends on ever adding a team.
